چئبو اهي.

اهي توهان کي مخصوص ماڻهن يا شين

ڏانهن اشارو ڪرڻ ۾ مدد ڪن ٿا ۽ فاصلي (ويجهو يا پري) ۽ انگ (واحد يا جمع) جي لحاظ کان استعمال ٿين ٿا.

BASIC RULES

WHEN TO USE THEM

Use this:

• When referring to one thing/person that is close to you in space or time.
• Often used when introducing something new in conversation or writing.

Examples:

• This coffee is hot. (You're holding it or it's in front of you.)
• This is my friend, Sarah.
• I like this movie. (You're watching it now.)

 

Use that:

• When referring to one thing/person that is far away in space or time.
• Can also be used to refer back to something already mentioned.

Examples:

• That mountain is huge. (You’re pointing at it in the distance.)
• I remember that day very well.
• That was a great idea you had yesterday.

 

Use these:

• When referring to more than one thing/person that is close to you.

Examples:

• These apples are fresh. (You’re holding or near them.)
• These are my shoes.
• I love these photos.

 

Use those:

• When referring to more than one thing/person that is far away in space or time.

Examples:

• Those birds are flying high. (You’re pointing at them in the sky.)
• I don’t like those shoes.
• Those were the good old days.

 

TIP FOR DISTANCE:

• This / These = here, near, now
• That / Those = there, far, then

 

QUICK MEMORY HACK:

• "T" in 'this' and 'these' = Touch (close)
